Business Services & IT Training Group

Providing timely, effective and efficient services that make a real difference to the overall performance of the DoI, the Business Services and IT Training Group leads on IT training for the Met to support police officers and staff across the organisation. This includes the provision of e-learning facilities and is critical to ensuring the effective use of our IT systems throughout the Met.

Our work encompasses:

• Training Met officers and staff in the use of the Met's corporate systems through the development and delivery of a range of dedicated courses, both classroom and computer-based.
• Delivering HR support and providing opportunities for personal and professional development.
• Working with DoI staff to implement frameworks, processes and best practice to ensure quality and performance standards.
• Finance and Resource Management, Quality and Performance Management and supporting DoI Senior Management.
