The 50,000 people who make up the Met are as different and diverse as the millions of Londoners they serve. But whoever they are, and whatever their role, they all work as one team with the aim of delivering quality policing that builds trust and makes London the world's safest major city. Join them and thrive as part of the UK's largest police service.

Leading a small team, you will manage the audiovisual needs of the Peel Centre, Hendon, and delivery of a technical support service for the Centre and surrounding areas. The workload is diverse and technically challenging, involving a wide range of standard and bespoke surveillance systems, and presentation, training and evidential systems. This is chance to develop your leadership skills and be directly involved in supporting front-line policing.

With experience in a relevant area such as electronic engineering and either a degree, HNC or equivalent, chartered status of a professional body or exceptional proven experience, you will be capable of managing and supporting a technical team. Reliable under pressure, you should be self-motivated with an enquiring mind and good interpersonal and communication skills.
